Where does cashmere come from?

Among the most important producing countries are China, Mongolia and Iran. But there are also large breeding farms in other countries such as Australia, New Zealand and Scotland. Today mainly small items such as scarves and hats are made in the original Kashmir region.
Which animal supplies the high-quality cashmere wool?

How can you wash cashmere wool?
Cashmere wool is like human hair, both are made up of amino acids. So it is only logical to care for the precious wool like your own hair. If no care information can be found on the product, then cashmere wool can be used by hand at a maximum of 30 degrees wash warm water.
You shouldn't rub the fine wool, otherwise it will felt very easily and is no longer as soft as you are used to from cashmere wool. Of course, you should also avoid using detergents with optical brighteners, because they are Bleach only corrodes the wool.
