Today's markets and consumer buying habits are changing. People want to buy local because it is better for the environment and helps to ensure that the areas they live in thrive. This behavior persists even when someone is traveling. The buy local mentality follows them on work trips and vacations along. While abroad these travelers also want to experience the culture of the place they are in and if possible take a piece of that culture back home with them. Through design I wanted to produce a line of goods that satisfies all of these desires to promote local goods and the proliferation of a places culture and further provide a way for residents of that place to show their city pride.
